Light a Candle
Barbara (Matheny) Stemples passed away suddenly but peacefully at home in Cape Coral, FL on April 17, 2018. She was a very giving and feisty woman who had a big heart and loved blessing others. She was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Florida in her early twenties. She loved travelling the world and lived in Hong Kong for several years. She had one daughter, Kristian, whom she said was the light of her life. She liked to spend time at the beach, enjoyed knitting, and loved to read. She was passionate about her faith and her politics. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kristian (and Dave); grandchildren Ellie and Liam; brother Bob and sister Robin; and nephew, Rob (and Bonnie). There will be no formal memorial service, but please leave any memories or condolences here as a record. Kristian would love to have a record of those who knew and loved her mother.
